🔹 THE ROLE:

The Key Account Manager is responsible for providing one-on-one support, developing and maintaining long-term relationships with Distributors, and ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty. Key Account Management supports the oversight and expansion of the business by working with the most critical and strategic Distributor Organizations.

They act as reliable partners and advisors to Distributors, listening to their needs, challenges, and goals. They support the development of action plans by providing data, reviewing metrics, and offering insights that add value. They also mobilize and align internal resources and capabilities to help Distributors achieve their goals by delivering solutions and identifying new opportunities for growth and revenue.

 

🔹 HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:

✅ Key Account Management

  • Identify and work one-on-one with key accounts based on their strategic value to the organization, in alignment with the company’s vision to create value and drive results.

  • Understand the Herbalife business model, marketing plan, daily methods of operation, value proposition, opportunities, and challenges as they relate to achieving company goals.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting, trust-based relationships with Distributors, understanding their needs, motivations, and aspirations.

  • Monitor the performance, satisfaction, and retention of key accounts. Analyze data and metrics such as sales, recruitment, customer acquisition, retention, and Supervisor qualifications.

  • Provide regular feedback, reports, and insights. Communicate with Distributors regularly, offering coaching, support, encouragement, and motivation.

  • Discuss key performance indicators (KPIs) with Distributors to ensure they are setting realistic and achievable targets and goals. Support those aspiring to become Supervisors or join higher teams with the data they need to succeed.

  • Develop custom action plans to support growth by outlining business objectives, strategies, and specific actions for each key account.

  • Leverage internal tools and training to acquire and analyze data, input Distributor information and insights, and manage the account successfully to drive sales growth.

  • Complete effective onboarding and attend KAM trainings and workshops to continuously improve skills and effectiveness. Join and actively participate in the global KAM community.

  • Report on and document all Distributor interactions through the provided CRM platforms.

  • Uphold Herbalife's Privacy Principles, Standards, and Guidelines when sharing data and business opportunity information.

  • Identify opportunities, needs, challenges, and issues that prevent Distributors from achieving their goals. Escalate issues to the appropriate parties if needed. Act as the main point of contact and advocate within the organization.


✅ Supervise the Regular Region Operation

  • Support and conduct various corporate trainings and events at the regional level.

  • Identify city-level priorities based on the "City by City" concept. Share key opportunities with local leaders, follow up on promotion adoption, and measure training effectiveness.

  • Proceed with CBC activities using the allocated budget through discussion among Region SCPs and PTs for daily consumption, customer engagement, and Distributor recruitment.

  • Maintain high-level communication with all Distributors. Be clear when exchanging messages and construct reports accurately based on system reflections.


✅ Training Center Management

  • Coordinate and maintain the system of the Training Center (TC) and update materials such as the recognition wall, announcement flyers, and hanging banners.


✅ Others

  • Handle all urgent matters related to regional leadership by preparing immediate reports.

  • Meet monthly deadlines and work well under pressure. Identify and handle productivity problems promptly. Communicate requirements effectively to staff. Forward major events and promotion reports monthly to upper management.

  • Maintain a positive image and professionalism during events and in the office. Provide excellent service to Distributors.

  • Understand the needs of internal and external customers and make special efforts to be responsive and build customer satisfaction.

  • Promote teamwork and exhibit a positive attitude during times of change. Take on new tasks with enthusiasm and energy.

  • Always maintain a positive relationship with co-employees and management.

  • Be innovative and act as a motivator within the workforce.

  • Clearly understand departmental policies, procedures, and practices. Understand your role as Coordinator and have the knowledge to make timely and well-informed decisions based on facts and data.

  • Have a solid understanding of Herbalife’s marketing strategy.

 

🔹 SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • Less than 1 years of proven experience in the sales field.

  • Experience in coordinating complex and strategic accounts with multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proven experience in delivering account plans, including setting objectives, identifying opportunities, and monitoring performance metrics.

  • Experience in building and maintaining long-term relationships with key account clients, based on trust, respect, and mutual benefit.

  • Effective communication and collaboration with internal and external partners to deliver value aligned with company goals.

  • Strategic thinker with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM software, and other sales tools.

  • Willingness to travel domestically approximately 30% of the time.

 

🔹 EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Candidates with 4 additional years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
