Sr. Specialist, EHS (환경 안전/보건 관리자) / 장안

[The Role]

This role reports to Sr EHS Manager, Korea and is responsible for implementing and continuously improving EHS programs to fully comply with all applicable laws & regulations and Entegris Corporate EHS requirements. This individual will function as part of JangAng site EHS team to work collaboratively with Entegris corporate EHS to ensure EHS compliance, identify, prevent and resolve potential EHS issues. At time, this position will be working with other plant stakeholders for project implementation. Besides, he/she will need to work with other Korea EHS team. 

This position is located at Oseong Plant

[In this role you will]

• This role covers EHS compliance in JangAn manufacturing site.

• Assists different departments on daily Safety & health-related issues, proposes preventative measures, participates in making the equipment and facilities compliant by being associated with the projects as much as possible.

• Maintain compliance with national and local environmental, health and safety regulations.

• Assist in the implementation and validation of Entegris Corporate EHS requirements. 

• Lead Environmental EHS Permit/license/Reporting (Air/Waste/Wastewater/etc.)

• Lead Hazardous Chemical Management & High-pressure gas management comply with regulatory compliance to support JangAn plant manufacturing operation.

• Proactively drives continuous improvement in EHS performance and programs.

• Drive improvements in organizational EHS culture, awareness, and accountability.

• Collaborate with a multi-functional team to implement Sustainability Activity (ESG/CSR)

• Participate in incident / accident investigations and support to develop corrective and preventative action plans.

• Organize site employee EHS training, provide data for EHS audits, and maintain EHS records.

•  Provide analysis of EHS data within area of responsibility. Report on progress on implementation of annual objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) as required. 

• Supporting external audit response (ISO14001&45001, RBA, Customer, Authority)

Traits we believe make a strong candidate:

• EHS related certified engineer preferred.

o Industrial Safety Engineer Certificate(산업안전기사, 산업안전산업기사)

o Industrial Health Engineer Certificate(산업보건기사 자격증)

o High-pressure gas Engineer Certificate (고압가스기사, 고압가스산업기사)

o Industrial Engineer Hazardous material (위험물기능사, 위험물 산업기사, 위험물기능장)

• 10+ years' experience working on EHS compliance and/or programs in multinational companies.

• Bachelor’s degree on Safety, Environmental, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering, or related technical discipline.

• Compliance experience with EHS regulations

• Knowledge of Chemical Control Act, GHS requirements, toxic chemical control act preferred

• ISO14001/45001 or RBA experience are preferred.

• Basic computer knowledge, including MS Office.

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
