Software Engineer, Healthcare Digital Solutions

Job Overview

• Design and develop digital solutions requiring general domain knowledge and developing business experience.

• Analyze user requirements/needs and make decisions within limited parameters under regular supervision.

Essential Functions

• Develop and enhance SNS chatbot platforms (KakaoTalk) for pharmaceutical sales and marketing.

• Design and maintain web and mobile-based digital engagement tools for Healthcare Professionals (HCPs).

• Work across the full technology stack, including front-end UI and back-end systems.

• Manage and support small to medium-scale projects with limited complexity.

• Perform quality assurance to ensure software meets customer requirements and functions reliably.

• Review functional specifications and validation deliverables to ensure adherence to development standards.

• Provide peer support and assist in onboarding new Associate Software Engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Typically requires 3 years of relevant software development experience.

• Fluent in both Korean and English (spoken and written).

Preferred Skillset

• Strong experience in web development.

• Proficiency in PHP (highest priority), JavaScript, React, and/or Node.js.

• Hands-on experience in the healthcare and/or pharmaceutical industry.

• Experience deploying AI models in production environments.

• Familiarity with LangChain or other LLM application frameworks.

• Understanding of AI model lifecycle management, natural language processing (NLP), and recommendation systems.

• IT security certifications (e.g., Engineer of Information Security) are a plus.
