[ASM/외국계 반도체 장비사] Technical Director

Technical Director for Samsung account is a strategic business/ technology leader and core to the long-term success of ASM business from Samsung.

With strong technology experiences, knowledge and insight, the preferred candidate must be able to build high level and working level customer relationships, especially with Samsung account regarding technology.   

Technology Director must be able to direct the activities of service, support and process engineers with the help of various technology teams in ASM worldwide to deliver the solution to Samsung.

What you will be working on

Manage Samsung account globally in terms of technology issues with customer service focus, regarding all ASM products and services.

Build good relationships with customers.

With understanding of customer technology roadmap and schedule, product position with technical strength, competition with technical and commercial weakness, align with Account team for the overall defense/penetration strategy and execution tactics.

Monitor closely the program progress and potential issue

Align with BU on progress and issues to develop follow-up plan

Manage the situation change and adjust strategy properly

Support install base performance enhancement

Evaluate, understand and identify current customer needs, while also anticipating future needs and building long-term sustainable relationships and solutions.

Develop, maintain, and ensure the relevance of technical information used by internal and external stakeholders.

Understand and build long-term innovative global technology systems that enable enhanced customer relationships.

Ensure communication vehicles, e.g. telephone, email, and presentation, etc. are able to facilitate efficient and consistent customer follow-up.

Drive continuous improvement of the customer experience through team, process and support tool development.

Build strong cross-functional and matrixed relationships and collaborate with Product Marketing, Product Development, Service Engineering, and others to ensure a positive customer experience.

Drive projects across multiple customer sites that secure business and build trust in ASM’s capabilities. Coordinate management reviews and alignment.

What we are looking for

At least +15 years of experience in semiconductor capital equipment, working with Samsung Process Development Team is preferred

Specific focus on Deposition system in Semiconductor Field.

Knowledge of Thin film /Diffusion deposition systems

MS in Engineering is required. (Ph.D preferred)

Good communication skill with customer R&D, Manufacturing & Purchasing with understanding of technology and the Products.

Good internal communication and reporting skill in English.

Keep interest in new technology in semiconductor device manufacturing
