Medical Representative 

About SciGen

SciGen is a high growth biopharmaceutical company that develops, manufactures and markets recombinant human health care biotechnology derived products. SciGen’s focus are in the areas of endocrinology, gastroenterology, immunology and hemato-oncology. The company’s portfolio consists of biosimilar products such as human growth hormone, human insulin , human G-CSF and rituximab. All of SciGen’s products have undergone substantial clinical development.

SciGen’s strategy is to focus on biosimilars (follow-on biologics) in order to minimize the risk of early stage product development. SciGen also collaborates with strategic partners and institutions in order to continuously fill & improve its pipeline.

SciGen also in-licenses and distributes pharmaceutical products and medical devices.



Key Responsibilities

·       Customer and Territory Management: Proactively manage customer relationships and territory, ensuring the effective delivery of key messages to maximize impact.

·       Sales Performance: Achieve competitive sales targets while balancing effective sales and expense control, driving optimal financial performance.

·       Resource Planning: Develop a strategic resource allocation plan and execute it effectively to meet business goals.

·       Customer Value Delivery: Provide valuable services to customers, offering a competitive edge and striving for success in the market.

·       Sales Analysis and Improvement: Analyze district and territory sales data to identify performance gaps, and implement company Sales Force Effectiveness programs to improve outcomes. Effectively apply sales programs and plans to achieve objectives.

·       Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with marketing teams and colleagues to drive business growth.

·       Medical Leader Relationships: Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with key medical leaders to enhance business opportunities.

·       Alignment with Corporate Strategy: Align actions with corporate HR strategy and key principles, contributing positively to the company culture.

·       Market Insight and Business Planning: Analyze evolving customer needs and market trends, adapting business strategies accordingly to secure long-term success. Present business plans and required actions for your territory to ensure sustained performance.

·       Compliance and Ethical Standards: Operate in strict accordance with the SciGen Code of Business Conduct, ensuring all actions align with ethical guidelines.

·       Strategic Input: Provide insightful suggestions to DSM/TAM and the Marketing team to quickly integrate customer needs and opportunities into broader company strategies.

·       Program Execution and Reporting: Implement marketing programs as planned, ensuring timely communication to DSM/TAM and marketing teams on progress, status, and achievement of objectives. Gather competitive intelligence and share it with relevant internal and external stakeholders.

Job Requirements

Experience:
2-10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Experience in hospital settings is preferred, with a strong emphasis on general hospitals.
Previous experience in oncology is highly preferred.
Established relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) within the assigned sales territory.
Experience with new product launches is an advantage.


Skills:
Proven track record of achieving exceptional sales performance and consistently meeting sales targets in territory management.
Demonstrates the ability to effectively communicate academic knowledge and key messages to customers while strategically utilizing available resources to create business plans.
Strong capability to set and meet challenging objectives, showcasing a results-oriented mindset.
Successful at navigating change management and effectively handling challenging situations.
Actively contributes to the development of successful action plans and strategies.
Proactively shares best practices and successes with team members.
Earned trust and recognition from key opinion leaders in the territory.
Strong sales and negotiation skills are essential.

KnowledgeDeep understanding of the relevant therapeutic area and market landscape.
