EHS/Site Lead

1) EHS Responsibilities:

• -Develop and implement health and safety plans, policies, and procedures in compliance with local rules and regulations.
• -Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, and processes to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• -Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine causes and recommend corrective actions.
• -Coordinate and conduct employee training programs on health, safety, and environmental topics.
• -Collaborate with function managers to implement hazard controls and ensure a safe working environment.
• -Maintain records and prepare reports on health, safety, and environmental performance.
• -Keep abreast of developments in health, safety, and environmental legislation and best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
• -Act as a liaison between the company and regulatory authorities on matters relating to health, safety, and environmental compliance.

2) Site Responsibilities:
-Supervision of operation and safety management of related facilities within the R&D organization
-Carrying out planning, operation, and follow-up management by reflecting the purpose of the event conducted by the R&D organization
-Perform tasks related to real estate and other contracts, acquisition, and lease for the smooth performance of the R&D organization.
-Perform work to provide timely support to requests arising from work by members of the R&D organization and to manage and improve business facilities.

Qualifications:

• -Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• -Professional certification such as Engineer Industrial Safety(산업안전기사).
• -Strong knowledge of Korea safety regulations, including Occupational safety and health act, SAPA and laboratory safety act.
• -More than 3 years of related experience in EHS and Site management
• - Business-level English proficiency required.
• -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage others.
• -Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
• -Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• -Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP) are a plus.
