1. PURPOSE OF POSITION/ROLE
• Drive B2B2C marketing excellence, leading demand creation for both Pet Owners and Pet professionals (Vets and Vet tech) to achieve growth and leadership in priority categories (Osteoarthritis, Parasiticides, Dermatology and BIO)
• Shape and execute strategies that drive Pet Owner-preferred, Pet professional-recommended positioning of priority categories.
• Lead the marketing team to deliver commercial impact through omnichannel campaigns, effective forecast and resource management, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Foster a high-performance, lean marketing organization that aligns with sales, technical, and global stakeholders to deliver and sustain business leadership.
2. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Demand Creation & Brand Leadership
• Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies to drive Pet Owner demand and Vet recommendation in targeted categories.
• Champion Solution Selling and ensure marketing messages translate into actionable sales force engagement.
• Leverage Omnichannel Marketing (CRM, digital, field, events) to create consistent brand experiences.
• Systematically collect and apply Voice of Customer (VOC) insights from both pet owners and pet professionals to continuously optimize marketing effectiveness.
Forecasting & Business Planning
• Lead data-driven demand forecasting and inventory planning in close collaboration with demand planning and commercial operations.
• Track and analyze market data, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to inform agile marketing decisions.
• Drive value-based pricing strategies and optimize promotional investments to maximize ROI.
Cross-functional Collaboration & Execution
• Work closely with sales leadership and field force to align marketing initiatives with sales priorities and execution.
• Partner with global and cluster marketing teams to leverage global best practices and drive local market leadership.
• Lead cross-functional go-to-market planning and ensure effective execution of brand strategies across all customer touchpoints.
Team Leadership & Performance Management
• Lead and coach a high-performing marketing team with clear direction, ownership, and accountability.
• Drive a performance-focused culture in a lean organizational environment; proactively manage talent and build future marketing leadership pipeline.
• Foster strong collaboration across marketing, sales, technical, and other enabling functions.
Budget & Governance Excellency
• Manage marketing budget with strong financial discipline and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Ensure all marketing activities align with Zoetis Values, global policies, and local codes of practice.
3. SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Education & Experience : University degree or higher, 10+ years of business experience with proven marketing leadership and execution experience required. Sales and P&L experience is an advantage. Prior experience in multinational companies preferred.
Languages: Native Korean; excellent English proficiency (reading, writing, speaking).
Core Skills:
• Proven success in Consumer and/or Health Professional demand creation marketing.
• Strong forecasting & analytics capability.
• Expertise in Omnichannel marketing execution.
• Strong leadership and team management in a lean, agile organization.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
