The team
is currently seeking a Technical Lead Cloud & AI Engineer to lead the
development of a next-generation AI platform. This role combines deep technical
expertise in software engineering with advanced data science
capabilities to
deliver scalable solutions for clinical data integration and AI model
deployment. The ideal candidate
will play a pivotal role in shaping the future
of behavioral health through technology-driven innovation.
Key Responsibilities
·
Design and
implement a serverless architecture on AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL,
EventBridge) to
support real-time clinical and engagement workflows.
·
Build and
maintain ML Ops pipelines for model training, deployment, and monitoring using
DataBricks and
Python-based frameworks (e.g., Pandas, Polars).
·
Integrate large
language model APIs (e.g., OpenAI, HuggingFace) to enhance patient-provider
communication through natural language processing.
·
Develop robust
ETL pipelines to process and normalize structured and unstructured data from
EHRs,
wearable devices, and patient-reported outcomes.
·
Create reusable
data transformation components tailored to behavioral health use cases such as
PHQ-9
scoring and therapy session analysis.
·
Implement data
quality checks and validation protocols to ensure the integrity of clinical
data used in AI
models.
·
Build
developer-friendly interfaces for AI features like risk prediction, patient
stratification, and personalized
engagement nudges.
·
Collaborate
closely with clinical stakeholders to translate behavioral health workflows
into scalable technical
solutions.
·
Define and uphold
governance standards for model transparency and compliance with healthcare
regulations.
Key Requirements
·
5+ years of
experience delivering production-grade systems with: AWS serverless
technologies, Python data tools (Pandas, PySpark, scikit-learn), ML deployment
platforms (e.g., MLflow)
·
Deep
understanding of healthcare data standards (FHIR, HL7) and regulatory
requirements (HIPAA).
·
Proven track
record of leading cross-functional technical projects involving clinical and
product teams.
·
Hands-on
experience with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and interoperability
frameworks.
·
Familiarity with
patient engagement metrics and care coordination workflows.
