[Lumenis BE Korea Ltd.] Service & Operation Specialist
Lumenis, the global No.1 leader in laser medical devices, is seeking a passionate and talented individual to join Lumenis BE Korea Ltd. as a Service & Operation Specialist. Key Responsibilities
Service & Operations Support (Internal Focus):
● Assist with service-related revenue closing and tax invoice issuance support as needed (compiling and relaying relevant information), and support pre-sales quotation or order information accuracy.
● Serve as the primary communication liaison with Field Service Engineers and the Sales Team (e.g., for part requests, service record inquiries, pre-sales technical/parts information).
● Prepare parts for dispatch based on engineer requests or pre-sales demo/installation needs, and process related system transactions.
● Support the creation, progress tracking, and closing of Work Orders (WO) for service activities.
● Verify and manage service-related and pre-sales support data in the internal system (e.g., part prices, customer payment details/card information, demo equipment tracking).
Logistics Management (Import / Export):
● Oversee import and export shipment operations in close collaboration with HQ, forwarders, and customs brokers, primarily focusing on import operations with export support as required.
● Plan and manage shipment schedules, tracking progress and records.
● Prepare, manage, and archive all documentation related to import/export and customs clearance.
Warehouse & Inventory Management:
● Manage and record the inbound/outbound flow of parts and equipment using the SAP system.
● Conduct regular physical inventory counts, reconcile with system data, and investigate/resolve discrepancies.
● Monitor safety stock levels for FRU (Field Replacement Unit) and coordinate timely orders with the Service Team Manager.
● Support the maintenance and organization of the warehouse environment for efficient inventory management (including communication with 3PL provider).
Administrative Support:
● Provide general administrative support for the Operations team and office.
● Ensure smooth cooperation and support for other departments.
● Assist with other operational tasks as required by the company.
Key Qualifications
● Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher.
● Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in import logistics, inventory management, operations, or a related field. (Experience in the medical device or technology-based industry is a plus).
● Language: Native Korean speaker with good business English proficiency is essential (for email correspondence, document comprehension, and basic conversation).
● Hands-on experience with SAP & Salesforce
● Proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with team members
● Meticulous, responsible, and proactive attitude with a strong ability to identify and resolve issues.
● Excellent self-management skills and the ability to coordinate and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications
● Fluent in both spoken and written English.
● Strong understanding of medical device import/customs regulations.
● Extensive experience in managing and collaborating with 3PL providers.
● Experience in supporting pre-sales activities in a technical or operational capacity.
