[Elkem] Technical Service Specialist

Job Description:
We are looking for a talented Technical Service Specialist to join our team and help us continue to grow and succeed in Korea.

This position is responsible for:
• providing technical support to our customers by organizing lab works and technical service aligned to Business Group direction,
• achieving good customers satisfaction by on-time & professional answering to customers' inquiries,
• identifying customers' unmet needs and transfer into new R&D projects and help to qualify new products at customer's side,

The work location is 경기도 용인시.

This role involves:
1. Win our customer preference: support our Sales team, participate in seminars and prototype sampling, find and develop new opportunities, participate in customer's troubleshooting,
2. Boost Innovation: support new product development, visit seminars & exhibitions,
3. Lab management & Safety: ensure HSE and compliant operation, monthly 5S self-audit (5S), etc...

Education:
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Organic chemistry or other related fields,

Related Experience:
- Minimum 3 years as Technical Service Specialist,
- Experience in Home & Personal Care applications, preferably Cosmetics prototyping
- Basic understanding of material chemistry, preferably silicone chemistry,
- Familiar with Lab test for Cosmetics applications,

Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Good English speaking/writing (frequent work with overseas colleagues & customers),
- Understanding the tendency among the experiments results,
- Operating analysis facilities,
- Capability in reasonably reporting technical issues,
