Packaging Engineer (Fixed-term) 
This position reports into Senior Packaging Engineer and is based at Cheong Ju, South Korea.

Role reports to: Senior Packaging Engineer
Location: Cheong Ju 
Job Type : Fixed-term (15 months) 

What you will do
The Packaging Engineer is responsible for designing and enhancing validation of package components and processes, compiling research on new package concepts, participating in process improvement teams, and recommending packaging methods and techniques to be used:
Key Responsibilities
·       Design and develop innovative packaging solutions that meet the specific requirements of the product
·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure packaging designs are both functional and visually appealing
·       Stay updated on industry trends and new packaging technologies to continuously improve packaging designs
·       Conduct testing and analysis to ensure packaging materials meet quality and safety standards
·       Optimize packaging processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
·       Collaborate with packaging design and process improvement teams to enhance validation of package components and packaging processes
·       Research and implement new package concepts and technologies to improve packaging systems
·       Lead minor sections of new package development projects
·       Recommend innovative packaging methods and techniques to meet project variations
·       Utilize technical competency and diverse package engineering knowledge to generate creative packaging solutions
