Job Description – Analog Design Engineer
Overall Purpose of Position*:
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of power analog IC design experience to develop DrMOS, SPS, DC-DC/AC-DC converter, Motor Driver IC or Gate Driver IC for power devices like MOSFET, BJT, IGBT and GaN. The candidate will design gate driver with high power(current/voltage) driving capability, bandgap/reference, accurate current sense, oscillator, adaptive amplifiers and voltage regulator for DrMOS and SPS. Analog and Digital mixed signal IC design experience is quite emphasized.
Primary Job Responsibilities/Duties*:
Essential functions include but are not limited to :
1.Solid understanding of transistor-level analog design fundamentals, design tools and methodologies.
2.Solid understanding of semiconductor device physics, ESD, latch-up and reliability design rules.
3.Enough understanding of discrete power devices’ features and operation in the push-pull configuration.
4.Experience taking custom projects from feasibility, process technology selection, die size estimation, schedule management, IC design, floor-plan, layout supervision and verification, tape-out procedure and fab monitoring, ATE correlation, hands-on lab evaluation, RTM, yield improvement, and failure analysis support.
5.Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with effectively concise technical documentation.
Other (Secondary) Job Duties:
1.Support SPS ransomized simulation verification environment set-up
Qualifications (Academic, Experience, Skills, etc.)*:
1. Above EE Bachelor's degree
2. 10+ years analog IC design experience
