WE MAKE TRADE FLOW TO CHANGE WHAT'S POSSIBLE FOR EVERYONE
[Position Summary] The job purpose is to perform solution engineering & pricing works for contract logistics businesses in North Cluster. This includes designing engineered processes with applying automation & technologies into warehousing and logistics business processes and incorporating designed processed into pricing model to efficiently drive commercially viable business proposals as well as foster continuous improvement.
[Key Accountabilities] • Manage contract logistics solution engineering and pricing functions in the North Asia cluster and collaborate with various functional teams to support CL sales and operations. The responsibilities will initially cover both solution engineering and pricing for contract logistics and will then evolve to specialize in solution engineering in due course • Provide strong functional leadership in North Asia cluster for contract logistics solution design engineering & pricing • Establish solution engineering & pricing guidelines for various warehousing and contract logistics activities in North Asia cluster. • Work with APAC regional function to standardize contract logistics toolbox for solution engineers in the cluster/country • Work with APAC regional function to conduct training programs and provide coaching in areas of solution design, engineering, pricing and innovation/automation to Cluster and/or Country resources • Support contract logistics RFQs to ensure the delivery of the best solution that meets customer and internal objectives • Drive contract logistics business requirement gathering works with both internal and external stakeholders
• Work with external consultants to deliver solution design projects and/or customer RFQ when required • Present solutions to customers and internal senior management when required • Continually research the current and emerging automation/technologies to incorporate into new business proposal or to propose changes in existing warehouse or activities where suitable

• Commit to compliance with applicable HSSE requirement in the responsible fields / department • Allocate adequate resources to eliminate / reduce identified HSSE risks to as low as reasonably practicable, and supervise the HSSE enforcement to get the desire result • Influence critical HSSE behaviour expectations by demonstrating role-Model in the responsible field / department • Deliver HSSE KPIs cascaded to the responsible field / department
[Qualifications & Experience]
• A bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field. An MBA or other relevant postgraduate degree can be an added advantage • Minimum 10 professional experience in logistics, warehousing or 3PL industries, preferably in a multinational logistics environment • Minimum of 8 years’ experiences with a wide variety of contract logistics solution design or industrial engineering or pricing or process improvement • Experience in managing a team (directly or remotely) and/or working within regional leadership functions • Exceptional analytical skills, with ability to understand data and translate it warehouse flow requirements • Solid warehouse process understanding, past experience in warehousing operation is a plus • Good commercial and contractual acumen in Contract Logistics and Warehousing agreements • Experienced user of 2D and 3D Technical Drawing tools such as AutoCAD, Sketchup, CLASS • Knowledge of WMS and automation implementation or working with automated logistics systems is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel functions, PowerPoint, Word) with knowledge about other Microsoft 365 Apps Dynamics, Power BI is a plus • Pragmatic financial acumen to understand the correlation of warehouse activities and capital expenses and their impacts on overall P&L • Structured and organized approach to project and proven ability to deliver results on time and on budget • Good command in spoken and written English and Korean with Japanese as an added benefit
• Project Management and/or Lean/Six Sigma methodologies exposure or certifications are a plus • Self-starter with ability to function and succeed with minimum instructions • Strong organizational skills with experience in forming, growing and leading a team
