[반도체/엔지니어] Process Development Engineer

A Process Development Engineer role is now open in an equipment manufacturer. The chosen candidate will handle the research and development of innovative semiconductor diffusion and annealing processes within furnace environments.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research findings into practical applications for semiconductor manufacturing
• Drive the optimization and scaling of existing processes to meet production targets and quality standards
• Assess and analyse thin film material properties, providing detailed interpretations
• Act as a primary point of contact for customers regarding process evaluations and enhancements
• Analyse customer feedback and implement necessary adjustments to ensure alignment with their requirements and expectations
• Understand furnace operation mechanisms and the capability of system upgrades
• Create comprehensive documentation and procedural instructions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
• More than 3 years of experience in software development (semiconductor furnace equipment or industrial automation is preferred)
• Experience in real-time control systems and automation software development
• Proficient in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or Java
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols
• Knowledge of embedded systems, PLC programming, or HMI development
• Strong understanding of software testing, debugging, and optimisation techniques
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Experience with semiconductor furnace equipment or related high-precision systems is preferred
• Knowledge of equipment control systems, process integration, and data acquisition is a plus
• Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally
