[Position Summary] The job purpose is to
build, develop and grow contract logistics business in KR in other to expand the
footprint and capability for contract logistics in the North (NOA) cluster.
This includes achieving assigned business plan by generating profitable EBITA
with winning domestic contract logistics services, such as warehousing,
transportation, and value-added services. The role involves building
relationship with all levels of customers’ organization and key stake holders,
generate revenue opportunities across all product of contract logistics. He/She
would also analyze customers’ current supply chain need to create appropriate
solutions and prompt respond the RFI/RFP.
[Key Accountability]
- ▶Travels to customer sites for
face-to-face meetings to gather information about their business for
proposing logistics solutions.
- ▶Analyzing Customer’s Supply Chain and warehouse
process to understand customer’s needs and propose prompt service and
solutions.
- ▶Build
robust business pipelines, and manage,
develop, and grow the Contract Logistics business working with across
functional
management team as well as manage all customer relationships.
- ▶Develop and sell warehouse
solutions to customers to secure their business, provide value-added
service to proposal and satisfy business needs.
- ▶Response customer’s RFI/RFP and
present solutions to customers to gain approval of proposals and move forward
thru sales
process with collaborating Solutions design, Engineering,
Implementation, Quality Assurance and Pricing.
- ▶Conduct business reviews and
ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- ▶Collaborate with regional key-account
manager for developing global customers by leverage Syncreon/Imperial
Global network.
- ▶Meet with customer to discuss customers
complain, pain point and their goal and drive continuous process to
determine
appropriate resolution.
- ▶Demonstrate strong
decision-making skills, establish best practices, and maintain operations
KPI system for performance control and intervention.
[Safety Accountability] ▶Commit to compliance with applicable HSSE requirement in the responsible fields / department. ▶Allocate adequate resources to eliminate / reduce identified HSSE risks to as low as reasonably practicable, and supervise the HSSE enforcement to get the desire result. ▶Influence critical HSSE behaviour expectations by demonstrating role-Model in the responsible field / department. ▶Deliver HSSE KPIs cascaded to the responsible field / department.
[Qualification & Experience] ▶Tertiary qualifications preferably in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Shipping/ Logistics Management or equivalent disciplines. ▶Agile and pro-active with a collaborative style. ▶Minimum 10 years' experience in a sales role within a global multinational company. ▶Minimum 5 years' experience leading contract logistics operations in a global multinational company. ▶Strong business expertise & acumen with the ability to apply in-depth knowledge of economic, commercial and political issues to build and grow the business with impactful outcomes. ▶Exceptional communication skills, including active listening, clear and eloquent writing, proficient speaking abilities in both group and individual settings, and the abilities to explain complex concepts effectively while maintaining tact and diplomacy.
