Supplier Quality Engineer 채용

We are looking for Supplier Quality Engineer for Group Trucks Purchasing (GTP) APAC.
This position is in Changwon, South Korea, possibly Seoul after 2-3 years based on business requirement

Core Responsibilities
The Supplier quality engineer is actively involved in all supplier quality activities from supplier selection, supplier development through on-going performance monitoring.

lHe/she is an active member in the supplier selection and business award decision

lHe/she is responsible to carry out the quality assurance activities in the frame of on-going projects in accordance with documented guidelines and instructions.

lHe/she manages portfolio of suppliers as assigned by SNQ manager

lHe/she is in charge to communicate the quality targets and quality requirements to suppliers and make sure of their respect

lHe/she has the responsibility to manage and challenge the overall quality performance of suppliers delivering any Volvo locations

lFor parts in production, he/she is responsible to steer supplier improvement and request corrective actions

lFor parts in operation, he/she would evaluate/monitor supplier capacity and part delivery status closely.

 Required Competencies:

lGood at Electrical/electronic process and relative technology

lGood quality management and capacity evaluation knowledge

lCapacity to work in a multicultural team

lGood communication, negotiation skills and English speaking with Japanese as plus

lGood analytic skill and logical way of thinking

lCommitted to customer satisfaction

lSelf-driven and work under pressure

lThis job needs to travel to suppliers frequently inside south Korea and abroad

Qualifications
 -   University degree required. Master of Science/engineering preferred
 -   5 years’ experience in automotive industry including APQP / PPAP process
