Job Description
As a Director of Key Account Technology , you will partner with Engineering to evolve needs of key industry players In this role, you will report to the VP & CTO.
The Key Account Technologist plays a crucial role in aligning our technological innovations with the evolving needs of key industry players such as Samsung and TEL.
This individual is responsible for deeply understanding customer technology roadmaps and ensuring that technology roadmap is strategically aligned, facilitating collaborative success and mutual advancement in the semiconductor industry.
Additionally, this role contributes to creating business opportunities through close collaboration with sales and business development teams, further cementing our position as a trusted partner in the semiconductor sector.
Responsibilities
1. Roadmap Alignment: Gain a comprehensive understanding of customer technology roadmaps and align technology development efforts accordingly to ensure our solutions meet future customer needs.
2. Technical Advocacy and Collaboration: Act as the primary technical liaison between company and strategic customers, translating their technical requirements into actionable solutions.
3. Program Leadership: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technical programs that are aligned with both company and customers’ strategic objectives, ensuring technical and commercial success.
4. Strategic Prioritization: Identify and prioritize necessary technologies based on the alignment of customer technology roadmaps with our own, guiding R&D and product development teams in focusing their efforts on high-impact projects.
5. Cross-functional Team Coordination: Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among engineering, sales, R&D, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive effort and synergy in achieving program goals. This includes working closely with the sales and business development teams to explore and capitalize on new business opportunities. 6. Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor the progress of aligned technical programs, adjusting strategies as necessary to address evolving customer needs and market dynamics.
Required Skills
1. Deep Technical and Market Understanding: Strong background in engineering, preferably in Semiconductor manufacturing, process equipment, materials, chemistry, physics, or a related field, with an in-depth understanding of the semiconductor industry’s technical and market trends.
2. Strategic Vision and Alignment: Demonstrated ability to understand and align with customer technology roadmaps, identifying future technological needs and opportunities for collaboration.
3. Program Management Excellence: Proven track record in managing and leading technical programs, with the ability to drive projects from conception through to successful completion.
4. Effective Communication: Outstanding communication skills in English, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to a diverse audience, including senior customer representatives and internal teams.
5. Analytical and Decision-Making Skills: Strong analytical abilities with a talent for prioritizing technologies and initiatives that align with strategic objectives.
6. Leadership and Influence: Ability to lead by influence across organizational boundaries, fostering a collaborative environment and driving collective action towards common goals.
