The Role:
The Plant Financial Analyst provides
financial reporting and analysis related to Plant Operations including supply
chain organization. The position
provides support to the Plant Controller and to the Plant Manager as well as
other key personnel in the Plant. This
position is primarily responsible for Oseong plant but engages with other sites
as a member of Plant Finance in Korea. This position reports to the Korea Plant
Controller.
In this role you will: ※
Financial Analysis and Reporting: l Conduct in-depth financial analysis of plant operations, including
variance analysis, cost analysis, and budget vs. actual performance. l Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to plant
management and corporate stakeholders. l Identify and communicate key financial trends, risks, and
opportunities. ※
Budgeting and Forecasting: l Assist in the development of annual budgets for the plant, ensuring
alignment with overall company objectives. l Collaborate with department heads to gather relevant data and inputs
for the budgeting process. l Monitor budget performance and provide regular updates to plant
management. ※ Cost Control and Optimization: l Evaluate manufacturing costs, identify areas for cost reduction, and
implement strategies to optimize operational efficiency. l Partner with operational teams to analyze production processes and
identify opportunities for improvement. ※ Financial Modeling: l Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic
decision-making and scenario analysis. l Provide insights into potential investments, capital expenditures,
and other financial decisions. ※
Cross-Functional Collaboration: l Work closely with various departments, including operations, supply
chain, and procurement, to gather relevant financial data and provide financial
support.
l Collaborate with corporate finance teams to ensure consistency in
financial reporting and alignment with company policies.
Traits we believe make a strong candidate: l Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Advanced
degree or professional certification. l 3 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis,
preferably in a manufacturing or plant environment. l Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting. l Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. l Excellent communication and presentation skills. l Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. l SAP user and excellence in Microsoft Office.
l Able to communicate effectively in English.
