- Ensure compliance with customer’s common spec for all machine platforms
Responsibilities
- Responsible to locally manage operational product safety & compliance of ASML machines in Korea, in the domain of regulatory & customer requirements. The compliance engineer is the ASML representative in Customer meetings & audits by local authorities. He/She also manages directly the contacts with ASML head office to relay these requirements and follows up to keep track on changes in the products.
- In this role the Compliance engineer reports locally to the Group manager Product Safety & Compliance in Korea. This local Korean Compliance team is part of the Global Quality & excellence organization, acting independent of the local service & operations organization.
Job Description
- Review that the new machine complies with KR legal requirement and consult with Development related departments. Plan strategy to obtain permits and acceptance from government agencies.
- Develop a solution in consultation with relevant government institutions (KGS, KOSHA and others) regarding KR legislation that must be complied.
- Propose new way of permitting work in order to prevent delaying installation or decreasing productivity.
- In terms of product safety, consolidate issues and escalate to global compliance team. Depend on risk severe, prepare slide for global regulatory board.
- Submit and register compliance documents required upon requirement from customers and government agencies.
- Participate in common spec review meeting when introducing new machine platform
- Track any legislation revisions and assess any risks which can be affected on machine design and permit requirement.
Education
Bachelor’s degree with engineering background (Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical engineering, Electronics, Electric engineering)
Personal Skills
- 1-3 years’Experience in legal permit process for high tech product is preferred. (신입지원 가능)
- Good verbal and written language skills in English.(Important)
- Good knowledge in KR permit requirement is preferred.
- Good coordination skills and interpersonal skills.
- Pro-active, self-initiative and self-driven for planning, preparation and execution.
- Good internal and customer communication skills.
