Introduction to the jobOur customers rely on our ability to provide quality service and maintain our lasers within operational specifications for their processes. Your abilities will directly impact the success of our Field Service team, by enabling them to safely perform service events, utilizing established procedures, in a timely manner.
Role and responsibilities:Tasks include delivering training courses on highly technical laser systems in an Instructor Led, online or blended learning environment.Training tasks include:- Deliver in-house and online training.- Conduct technical knowledge and skills training for field service engineers, technical support engineers and customers.- Attend 6-8 weeks of technical training at Cymer San Diego during the onboarding.- Serve as a multiple platform Subject Matter Expert (SME) as defined by product offerings. Examples include, but not limited to: XLR lasers, XLA lasers, and Single Chamber (ArF & KrF).- Perform service, maintenance and troubleshooting on department lasers to maintain a ready for training status for lasers.- Utilize test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DVMs, power meters and beam analysis tools.- Order and transact parts in Oracle.- Represent the department as a SME for rapid development projects to address field training needs.- Assist cross-functional groups with laser operations, technical source material and data gathering.- Enforce all safety policies and procedure to ensure safe environment for training.- Collect and analyze data for troubleshooting purposes as part of training delivery and laser maintenance.- Participate with cross-functional departments to resolve training department laser issues.
Although the primary responsibility is technical training, this position is also responsible for participating in developing and revising curriculum and learning administration tasks.Tasks include:- Participate in needs analysis studies to determine training requirements.- Develop training schedules to meet training requirements.- Conduct technical reviews and validations of processes, procedures and curriculum.- Support and participate in the development of interactive, computer-based, asynchronous training products using rapid development tools from Articulate, Adobe and Techsmith:- Create technical source material, screen captures and audio/video recordings.- Process class attendance in the Learning and Management System (LMS).- Assign and validate FSE`s skills in the Learning and Management System.- Collect and report training demand and other reports as necessary.- Run laser status/health reports.- Conduct student liaison responsibilities such as travel, introduction emails, lodging, badge access, etc...- Develop and maintain relationship with local FSE team for technical and administrative support.

Education and experience- Bachelor`s degree in workforce education or technical field or equivalent field.- 4 years minimum in technical training field, field service, or equivalent experience.
Preferred but not required:- Experience with laser operations- Experience with module replacement- Experience with data collection- Experience with development tools such as storyline, captivate, photoshop, etc...- Experience with learning management systems: user, instructor or admin
