[인테그리스] Field Application Engineer (Titration/Particle)

Position Summary

The Field Applications Engineer reports to the Field Applications Manager as a member of the local Instrumentation Applications team, coordinates and supports pre-sales and post sales warranty activities focused on local Equipment and System providers to Samsung. The FAE observes, reports, and helps develop new applications for existing products through an understanding of the customer and direct communication between the customer, sales, engineering, manufacturing, and other internal departments.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Technical Service Support

• ■ Front line warranty service support for AMH instrumentation customers (particle and titration systems)
• ■ Point of contact for OEMs executing new system installations
• ■ Point of contact regarding annual calibrations and validations
• ■ Design & execute application scientific methods and approaches for customers based on unique requests;
  develop execution plan and report results
• ■ Develop & execute new applications for current products and suggest modifications/improvements to
  existing products to expand customer and/or market opportunities

2. Technical Sales Support

• ■ Provides technical sales support necessary to maintain current business and / or capture new business
• ■ Visits customers before, during and after the introduction of new products to educate the market and pursue
  initial sales opportunities. 
• ■ Provides and interprets design, application and service information. 
• ■ Provides a direct customer contact in situations requiring concentrated technical and applications support. 

3.  Technical Leadership

• ■ Primary technical knowledge expert of products and applications. 
• ■ Supports creation of technical literature, white papers, manuals, data sheets and related product information
  as directed by Sr. Technologist. 
• ■ Leads and performs training internally and externally for all products within Instrumentation portfolio.

• ■ Ability to effectively communicate complex technical issues to customers (both internal and external)
• ■ Strong problem-solving skills (issues containment, root cause analysis, corrective action.
• ■ Strong analytical skills, including the ability to perform some level of statistical analyses of data generated
  through applications studies
• ■ Capacity to understand specific technical requirements as well as exhibit sound product knowledge
• ■ Able to identify problems and significantly improve, change or adapt existing techniques
• ■ Actively seeks ways to increase skill level and proficiency in technical and commercial techniques
• ■ Proficiency in use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• ■ Ability to understand and become proficient in all Entegris particle and titration software & firmware package
• ■ Language Ability: English proficiency required

Education / Experience

• ■ 3-5 years of experience in particle size analysis preferred
• ■ Bachelor’s Degree in chemistry or chemical engineering or highly related field preferred; experience with
  alternative engineering disciplines may be considered
• ■ At least 5 years experience in Semiconductor industry in a technical capacity
• ■ Experience directly engaging with customers in a Technology, Applications or Sales role
