Commodity Buyer - Under Carriage Parts 경력사원 모집

 Your main responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy commodity sourcing strategies for given sub commodities;
• Identify, evaluate, develop and manage suppliers to fulfill business needs;
  Ownership in various purchasing contracts, negotiate commercial contracts and agreements, Manage multi-year material improvement pipeline projects for continuous improvement
  Lead project in reaching project targets (right first time) with its supplier base (Planning, target costing, technical proposals)
  Continuously improve the supply chain, manage 4 box and build relationships with suppliers of assigned commodities;
  

• Secure strong cross-functional cooperation between purchasing department and various internal stakeholders.  Work cross functionally and continuously drive supplier quality, sustainability, capacity and cost (QSCC) improvements;
• Conduct BRMs (Business Review Meetings) with business partners and key suppliers at top management level;
• Take a regional coordination role for other commodity segments, such as tire, rims for project follow up and support local stakeholders on problem solving.
• Work in accordance with Volvo CE processes, the Volvo Way, Volvo values and behaviors;

Key competencies & experience
Minimum 8 years of Purchasing or relevant work experience;

• Have solid understanding of relevant markets/industries and suppliers;
• Possess relevant technical knowledge;
• Strong communication and negotiation skills + proven track record of delivering results;
• Excellent in decision-making skills, considering risks and opportunities, with an ownership mindset;
• Experience in working with cross functional and global team
• Excellent interpersonal and networking skills;
• Fluent in written and spoken English;
  
  
  

Education:

·         University or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or similar
