Ø Lead and coordinate
Supplier management activities from the beginning of supplier selection process
to launch and production stage.
Ø Coordinates purchasing (MRO, Capital
and direct materials) activities with manufacturing and engineering departments
to acquire inventory in a cost effective and timely manner.
Ø Performs cost analysis and volume
planning for major commodities. Obtains materials, components, equipment and
services.
Ø Develops new supply sources where
vendors and suppliers are inadequate.
Ø Monitors the cost, schedule and
scope of assigned subcontracts to assure best quality at best value.
Ø May recommend cost saving proposals
including make-versus-buy analysis, alternative sourcing and vendor evaluation
criteria.

Ø Evaluate
potential supply risks and set up and implement mitigation plan
Ø Lead
purchasing of MRO items and Capital equipment along with global and local
strategy
Ø Develop
new suppliers coordinating with supplier development and quality, engineering
department
Ø Commercial
negotiation with suppliers to maximize company’s profit and minimize loss
Ø Assist
negotiations of basic supplier agreements
Ø Coordinates
supplier relationship with internal functions (i.e. trouble shooting)
Ø Achieve
cost and performance objectives in line with existing strategies
Ø Communicate
and negotiate with supplier for commercial impact whenever there is a design
change impacting to its price
Ø Coordinate
and communication with Global Supply Management group to make an alignment
between global supply chain strategy and local strategy (Global Strength and
Local Accountability operation model)
Ø Drive
continuous improvements to the established objectives at suppliers

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE (Minimum Qualifications)
|
Ø
Positive Mental Attitude
Ø
3~5 years of work experience in
purchasing or Supply chain in automotive industry ; Prefer knowledge and experiences
in MRO and Capital equipment.
Ø
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
experience. Mechanical engineering related is preferred.
Ø
Competent in negotiating and
communication skills and assessing vendors.
Ø
Proficient in English
Ø
Ability to lead an area of
expertise or process ; especially focused on the advanced purchasing and value
analysis area.

Preference to applicant with skills
and competencies in the below

verbal and written communication skills in English
