[Job description]

You will, together with the on-site Product Company Controller, take on the accounting tasks and see for a smooth transfer of these.  A key in the position will be to adapt the processes to meet with the global standards within the 'E' group.

Your job will include participating in daily accounting tasks as well as Month-end/closing activities. In this taking responsibility over the accounting processes and develop them.
In this role you will report to the Product Company Controller.

 
[Mission]
The job tasks will include but not be limited to:
*Prepare bank payments, manage the company’s bank accounts including reconciliation of these.
* Support the sales department in preparation of transportation payments and import related costs.
*Reconciliation of sub ledger for account payables and account receivables, as needed following up with external parties.
*Preparation of Monthly balance sheet reconciliation, for final approval by the controller.
*Preparation of Journal Entries, also liaison with an external accounting firm supporting with part of the accounting tasks.
*Perform tasks connected with VAT and local tax filling.
*Participate in Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly closing activities. Including adapting these in according with internal standards.
*Actively participate in upcoming tasks for implementation of a new ERP system.

[Experience requirements]

*Solid experience from earlier accounting roles (at least 5 Years).
*Experience from working with accounting at an international company is a big merit.
*Experience from a role in system introductions/installations, as an ERP system changes is a merit.

[Knowledge]
*Well acquired to Korean accounting standards.
*Knowledge in IFRS reporting.
*Language skills: Native level in Korean, Business level English skills.
For communication internally and towards group functions, good English skill both orally and in writing is essential for the positon.
*ERP system knowledge/experience.
* Advanced level for excel.

[Educational Requirements]
*University degree in finance or accounting, or similar through experience.
Personality requirements
*Able to work against fixed deadlines at month-end and manage tasks independently.
*High level of commitment towards the work.
*Ability to proactively take-on and manage new tasks.
*A challenge mindset reviewing the processes at hand and see how they could be improved / adapted to required standards.
*Strong cooperation skills.
