Communications Specialist, 신입가능

Your Role

We are a vibrant science and technology company that is looking for a Communications Specialist who is digital savvy, is passionate about engaging people, has excellent writing skills (both English and Korean), and can bring creative ideas to the table. The job holder will be facilitating various communications tasks, support to cascade global vision and strategy to the employees and work closely with the global and local cross-business teams to drive events and initiatives. The candidate will be reporting to Head of Communications in Korea. Responsibility of the tasks include but aren’t limited to:

• ㆍSupport, plan and execute events internally and externally with a focus on driving stakeholder engagement and responsibility
• ㆍManage company digital channels including Intranet, Mailing, Social Media, Website etc.
• ㆍCreative writing, editorial review, and content translation for internal and external articles.
• ㆍStrategize and develop Merck branding collaterals and activations, ensuring optimal representation of the company proactively
• ㆍConduct media monitoring and manage incoming inquiries on a daily basis
  ㆍSupport administrative tasks including vendor communications, procurement processes etc.
  

Who You Are

• ㆍWorking experience of 1-3 years in relevant fields (Communications), either Inhouse / Agency environment 
• ㆍExcellent command in both Korean and English.
• ㆍExcellent writing skills and sensitivity for content optimization
• ㆍFamiliarity with digital interfaces including websites and social media channels, knowledge in SEO and/or online marketing is a plus
• ㆍGood sense of aesthetics for visual designs and other collaterals
• ㆍStrong interpersonal skills, able to interact with people in different level positions
• ㆍDemonstrate strong project management skills and execution abilities
• ㆍExcellent MS office
• ㆍ(Last but not least) Curiosity for Science and Technology
