[시흥] Automation System Engineer (PLC, Petro/Chem) 5년+

Your Role

You will be part of our organization and you will be involved in all activities of our organization(One team even a part is located in Korea and one in Germany and the USA). 

The main focus of this position is the process development and design, installation, and service of new innovative Automation systems.(new installations and extensions)

• ㆍAs an automation engineer you mainly design, program and simulate control strategies in chemical manufacturing plants with a special focus on electronic chemicals
• ㆍYou develop work packages and manage external controls engineering contractors
• ㆍYou define and enhance our instrumentation standards with a special focus on process safety, robust quality, and resource efficiency
• ㆍYour job starts in the early process development phases and ends with the commissioning of your technology on-site
• ㆍYou do system design (Hardware, Software), applying advanced automation systems for industrial 4.0. Installations, Commissioning
• ㆍYou participate in continuous improvement efforts based on experience and data analytic results
• ㆍThe readiness for domestic and international business trips will be required
• ㆍOther tasks assigned by your superior. 

Who You Are

• ㆍBachelor or above of automation, electrical engineering, or equivalent.
• ㆍ+5 years of professional experience in the project- and vendor management (Chemical production) is a plus
• ㆍStrong DCS/ESD/PLC/SCADA programming, systems integration, and troubleshooting is mandatory, in particular, DCS/ESD/PLC/SCADA controls of Siemens and Allen Bradley (Siemens PCS7 preferred)
• ㆍDesign and development experience for Sequential Function Chart / Sequential logic is mandatory
  ㆍProcess understanding for designing instrumentation diagrams of chemical plants in collaboration with process engineers
• ㆍGood knowledge of network technology and network architecture including IT security
• ㆍDeep knowledge of EX protection (NEC500, ATEX, IECEx) is preferred
• ㆍKnowledge and performance of safety analyses for the design of plants and special equipment
• ㆍFluent in English
• ㆍWilling and able to learn about new technologies, instrumentation, and control technology
• ㆍAble to grasp complex interrelations and to translate quality and system dynamics requirements into innovative and robust technical solutions
• Keen to manage medium-sized interdisciplinary, global teams of specialists.
• Find the right balance of doing and delegating design, coding and management tasks
• Use your process systems engineering understanding for the design of control architectures in collaboration with process engineers and IT
• Curious and motivated to be part of worldwide, cross-functional teams in development, project management, and operational functions
