| The Role |
|
This position is responsible for developing new analytical methods, leading various analytical capability
improvements, maintaining analytical equipment and developing new products and improving current
products. Additionally, they will also support customer requests and work closely and effectively with Sales,
Marketing, Research and Engineering. This position is located at Entegris’s plant in JangAn South Korea. |

| In this role you will |
|
ㆍSafely perform gas phase analysis to support current product, new product development and
customer requests
ㆍDevelop new analytical methods for measuring trace and assay impurities in gas phase products
ㆍContinuous improvement for existing analytical methods to meet growing customer demand
ㆍEstablish detection limits, accuracy, precision, and stability for analytical methods via MSA methodology
ㆍSupport analytical development projects on a global scale to meet internal and external customer
requirements
ㆍDesign, set up, and execute experiments - analyze data and communicate results to the team (or customers)
via reports and presentations
ㆍProvide technical support to sales, marketing, and global R&D
ㆍWrite and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Work Instructions, reports, and audits including
MSA and V&Q documentation
ㆍMaintain and support lab practices and documentation per relevant ISO 17025 and 9001 requirements
ㆍTrain other team members on analytical instruments, methods, SOP’s, etc.
ㆍMaintain and troubleshoot instrumentation including FTIR, GC, CRDS, RGA, etc.
ㆍ10~20% travel, both domestic and international, to support customer and business unit and
develop technical skills. |

| Traits we believe make a strong candidate |
|
ㆍAt least 3 years of experience in general lab instrument (GC, FTIR, RGA, etc.) operations and
maintenance experience preferred
ㆍTeam player attitude with a desire for excellence and continuous improvement
ㆍFlexible - ability to rapidly respond to new situations and perform multiple tasks
ㆍBS degree of Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
ㆍCertifications or training in Six Sigma, Semi, ISO, etc, are a plus;
ㆍExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English required
ㆍStrong Communication Skill required in both KOREAN and ENGLISH |
