[Responsibilities]
1) Develops and manages implementation of methods and procedures for inspection, testing and evaluation.
2) Develops and manages Environmental monitoring for Utility and facility
3) Manage Microbiological tests in the laboratory and provide technical expertise
4) Manage the data generated in the laboratory in compliance with the global data integrity guideline and requirements.
5) Manage and improve microbial practices in the aseptic facility.
6) Mentors, coaches, trains and develops the quality control staff. Evaluates performance and provides opportunities for growth.
7) Communicates department objectives and metrics and measures results.
8) Participate in planning and implementing changes in production methods, tooling and equipment, space allocations, workforce utilization, production schedules, lines and other factors required to maintain or improve compliance with quality standards of products.
9) Develops and implements systematic and effective processes to investigate and resolve customer complaints and problems.
10) Manages the development and implementation of metrics and systems to measure and guide improvements to product and system quality and customer satisfaction.
11) Prepares quality control reports, requirements and other information in response to requests for proposals, quotes and other business opportunities.
12) Prepares and administers budget. Develops cost control initiatives.
[Requirements for Microbiology]
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Microbiology or related scientific discipline with a minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience (for example, lab testing, executing lab studies, developing and validating test methods in a regulated Quality Lab).
- In depth knowledge in microbiology and basic knowledge in aseptic processing.
[Requirements for Small Molecule]
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biochemistry or related scientific discipline with a minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience (for example, lab testing, executing lab studies, developing and validating test methods in a regulated Quality Lab).
- In depth knowledge in analytical test method for small molecule products.
[Basic Requirements for both roles]
- Understanding of, and ability to interpret, applicable regulatory agency regulations and industry standards, and maintains currency on pharmacopeia compendia.
- Business English communication skill
- People Management experience with leadership skills in coaching, development, planning and problem solving. Focused on team success to meet defined metrics and timelines.
- Proficiency with computer systems (Microsoft Office applications, LIMS etc.)
- Knowledge in method transfer, equipment qualification, microbiological test method etc.
