Planning of site labor strategy
- - Establish mid & long-term master plan for “labor & management relations” in Gunsan site including labor contingency plan, labor management system, and information/PR/legal matters.
- - Establish overall operation plan for “labor & management matters” and execute annually.
- - Set up the countermeasures for wage bargaining and collective agreement.
People and function management - - Control overall labor matters such as labor, HR, education, contractor, payroll, compensation, and benefits and develop the succession planning to improve working efficiency.
Organization development - - Plan and reconstruct plant organization optimally (out-sourcing of internal organization and review the efficient operation).
Staffing and termination - - Plan and review personnel management strategy.
- - Review site manpower optimization (arrange right person to right place, job rotation).
Compensation and benefits - - Plan strategy for wage and collective bargaining.
- - Review and analyze labor cost impact by the bargaining.
- - Review the regulations (system) to satisfy employee.
Employee training and development - - Set up the mid & long-term development plan to improve manpower
- - Set up and review the education plan to improve non-exempt’s job abilities
- - Set up education programs for newcomers
- - Benchmark excellent HR development companies
Performance management administration - - Plan and review CDP (Career development program)
- - Review the performance appraisals about non-exempt employee and improve appraisal system
Employee relationship - - Develop programs for trust between labor and management
- - Build labor affairs operating system
- - Manage and develop program for employees’ satisfaction
- - Education for improving labor-management relationship
- - Benchmark peer companies for improving employee relationship
- - Joint labor-management workshop
- - Counseling of employees’ difficulties and solving
Advocacy management - - Support the site advocacy activities with local authorities and communities, and coordinate with Company Public Relation and Country Development function for relevant issue.
