- Assist production manager for stable operation, the case of plant
start-up, shut-down and TAR
- Review monthly performance (related with production, technical
matters, budget, cost, etc) and report to plant manager
2. Operational Planning
- Planning/Revision monthly/yearly production in accordance with
sales plan
- Planning and controlling budget and report plant manager
3. Technology Management
- Maintain and improve the software for DCS/PLC interlock system
- Perform process troubleshooting, timely reporting and recording
the history
- Review and revise P&ID, operation manual, work procedure and
standard
- Prepare technical report / MOC to improve process, safety and
quality
- Prepare/review/update specification of raw material and products
- Communicate with local / regional / global process experts for
technical matters
- Training for operation shift for operation, safety, environment
and quality
4. Plant maintenance
- Support plant & production manager for effective maintenance
work
- Prepare plant maintenance records and history
5. Cost saving
- Plan/review/reporting plant cost saving activities
- Monitor unit ratio of raw material/utilities, analyzing the actual
performance and reporting
- Involve actively to submit the ideas for cost saving.
6. Project Implementation
- Carry out capital projects (Scheduling, Designing, Budgeting,
Procurement expedite, Supervising construction, Prestart-up Audit, Start-up and
prepare performance/completion report as well)
- Planning the midterm capital expenditure plan
7. Quality
- Monitor the process regular sample analysis, raw material quality
and product quality
- Assist production manager to respond NCMs
8. Implementation of EHS concepts
- Prepare/Review all documents for concerning SHE system,
internal/external audit
- Participate in/Follow-up Safety Audit, Emergency drill,
Internal/external audit
- Cause analysis and establish countermeasures to prevent accident
of safety/environment
- Perform HAZOP study, Safety revalidation, Clean-Sheet-Review for
concerned processes
- Perform pre-start up audit for MOC, capital projects and annual
TAR
- Maintain ISO 9001/14001/45001/50001 documents and follow-up
required actions
- Evaluate/update all documents for the environmental requirements
followed by regulations
9. Technical know-how exchange and cooperation with BASF
- Communicate with MTCs and Join Technology & Experience
Exchange Meetings
- Assist MTC Know-How exchange meeting
- Benchmarking / Set-up follow-up actions for continuous improvement
