Requirements/Qualifications: • MBA, Bachelor Business Administration or equivalent plus at least 10 years of relevant work experience • At least 3 years sales experience in the cosmetics industry • Experience in a management role and strong sales management skills that foster a result driven team dynamic • High market awareness, experience in trade marketing, profound knowledge of natural products industry and relevant local distribution channels (e.g. H&B, eCommerce, Home-shopping, Department Stores) • Experience and understanding of key eCommerce dynamics • Communicative and analytical personality with strong negotiation skills, ability to motivate teams, simultaneously manage several projects and maintain good connections with customers • Business acumen, agility, competitive spirit, proactive & on-the-ground leadership and lead by example • Fluency in Korean and intermediate - advanced Business English skills • Open minded (anthroposophy, values of the company)
Responsibilities: • Develop the country sales strategy consistent with the brand strategy and the international sales strategy and establish sales programs based on those strategies to maximize sales revenue • Define market portfolios together with RD and Marketing Manager to ensure to be in the right channels in line with the brand and customer expectations • Develop pricing policies, terms and conditions for each channel and negotiate contracts with customers • Provide accurate sales forecasts and manage the sales budget, oversee the development and management of direct report operating budget and take corrective action as required • Build, develop and manage sales team, train them and develop their sales expertise and know-how • Foster a competitive yet collaborative team environment and contribute to a cross-functional alignment • Develop and maintain customer relationships through industry events, attending in-person meetings and participating in closing strategic opportunities • Share local findings with the Regional Management Asia Pacific, to ensure the consistency of the global strategy with the country’s needs
