Job Description
- Analyze Lab IT environments for customers and identify their
  IT needs.
- Make implementation plan for project.
- Define role and responsibilities for stakeholders.
- Prepare and organize hardware, software and human resources.
- Make a communication plan with internal department and customer.
- Install and configure IT products (1000, 3000 and 5000, infinity).
- Evaluate installed/developed products to examine their usability
  and features.
- Monitor performance and functionality for products.
- Assess implemented project.
- Provide user training and product demonstration.
- Document project details and progresses.
- Maintain products by troubleshooting, upgrading, or patching.
- Cooperate with APAC or GCS when necessary
- Create cobas IT user manual for customer and installation manual.
- Arrange outsourced interface program installation schedule.
- Support customer’s claim of interface program from phone call.
- Demonstration of own global new released IT products and launch them to local customers to improve their workflow.

Qualification
- At least Bachelor Degree in a Bio-medical engineering /
  IT related discipline is required.
- Basic training about General IT knowledge.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English
- Good command of MS office
- 2~3 years’ Service engineer or IT experience in the industry preferred.
- 1~2 years’ Application specialist experience with IT knowledge
  preferred.
- Skill in Server OS(Windows 2003/2008 server)
- Knowledge in network.
- Knowledge in communication protocol such as ASTM, HL7 etc.
- Good communication skill with customer and colleagues.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English.

Job Description
1. Workflow Consulting
- Ensure a high level of product knowledge is attained and
  maintained.
- Workflow/Simulation analysis
- Total workflow simulation analysis
- Simulation proposal presentation creation
- Presentation for analysis result
- Consult for optimization in lab include pre-analytic instrument,
  analyzer and post-analytic instrument.
- Working for APAC consulting package with APAC
- Consulting Service for other BU (TD, MD)
2. Project management
- Define, measure and report KPI for the quality, efficiency and
  effectiveness of the project.
- Project professional tool management
- Project Risk management
- Guide team processes, ensuring consistency, transparency and
  optimization
3. Automation and IT team support
- PS LA team support via workflow analysis.
- Gathering/analysis LIS data
- Dataflow analysis with IT team
- Supporting and delivery IT product via workflow implementation.
4. Training and Education
- To show good practice and increase level of product knowledge of
  sales specialists and distributors, develop and deliver training/
  education materials and programs, give them
- Internal training for PS team, sales reps. and new comers
- External training for distributors periodically
- On site workflow training for customer.
- Periodical product training and market update.
5. Communication
- Information through appropriate communication channels.
- WS & IT internal communication for dataflow
- Communication in customer site
  (From Kick-off to Wrap-up and follow up actions)
- Initiative communication with sales, distributors and customers when
  we have change or update on product related information or market
  information. If it is needed public communication, manage proper
  action to be taken.
- Communication with APAC for updates, consulting service,
  simulation, and project management.
6. Customer support
- Customer site analysis.
- Ensure ongoing, timely customer support for all defined products by
  providing product
- Benchmark survey
- Visit customers for consulting, workshop, proposal presentation, and
  problem solving

Qualification
- At least Bachelor Degree in a life science / medical related discipline,
  is required. Postgraduate qualifications such as an MS degree in a
  life science / medical related discipline.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English
- Good command of MS office SW application include VISIO and
  Sketch up
- Product, Marketing, Workflow overall expertise
- 1~2 years Sales, Marketing experience or Application specialist in
  the industry recommended
