Technical Sales Executive Job Description and Requirements
Commercial
- Develop new market development strategies and action plans in alignment with company strategy and translate them into actionable commercial programs and sales execution.
- Proactively develop new market segments and new sales channels.
- Demonstrated sales acumen with a track record of exceeding sales goals.
- Successes in developing and maintaining key customer relationships and partner ecosystems.
- Lead and drive sales negotiation and project closure to achieve revenue goals.
- Good insight and market intelligence into competitor commercial activities.
- Qualify sales opportunities and articulate value proposition convincingly.
Technical
- Develop value proposition to customers with good technical understanding and solution focus.
- Lead product/solution demonstration to customers to showcase application value for specific industries.
- Provide hands-on technical training to customers and partners.
- Act as consultant in providing advisory support (TCO, network and system architecture, product application, system design) when required.
- Manage and oversee the technical evaluation process for all open opportunities.
- Conduit between client/partners and Headquarter to provide feedbacks, challenges and recommendations for product improvements and operational excellence.
Requirements
- 8~10+ year experience in technical sales roles managing complex channel business.
- Experience in Train and Subway business, Industrial Automation market and Smart manufacturing initiatives.
- Good knowledge of working in multi-national companies
- Team player, helping peers and other team members to achieve the overall objectives.
- Good knowledge on IT including Server, Edge, Data Centre and Cloud.
- Good knowledge on Transportation and Industrial Automation solutions (MES, SCADA, HMI, Virtualization, Analytics) and trends (Internet of Things, Smart Manufacturing, Artificial Intelligence)
- Excellence in English communication and written skills.
- Able to travel domestic and overseas countries.
- Entrepreneurial, result oriented, and performance driven.
