- Direct, manage and execute research and development activities for product designs to meet
  the needs of the market within the capabilities of our manufacturing environment and perform,
  lead and manage business project

- Design and carry out experiments that scientifically confirm performance, reliability, durability,
  and serviceability
- Assist, lead or identify activities in parallel technologies or application of products that increase
  drive market share
- Develops project goals and objectives by reviewing project proposals, plans and conferring
  with management
- Formalized Design Reviews (PFS vs. Actual), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA),
  Project financial analysis and product validation (Test)
- Maintenance of project files for assigned projects, development and maintenance of project
  timetables
- Will interface with various customer personnel to determine both articulated and unarticulated
  needs in order to develop products that meet/exceed customer needs while maximizing value
  in use
- Ensures projects meet schedules, cost target results, and technical expectations through
  effective project leadership
- Identifies new product and market opportunities through various avenues such as outside
  consultants, trade shows and customer visits and industry surveys
- Responsible for special projects development
- Aligns internal divisions and outside suppliers to ensure that support for Master timing, test and
  validation plans, prototype needs and budgetary constraints are agreed and met
