Objectives of the Position |
|
|
|
|
- The Applications Engineer is responsible for identifying new applications, and to give technical support and
project management in accordance with IATF16949/QS9000/VDA6. to the Automotive Customer base.
He/she is responsible for the co-ordination of all application engineering activities and is the inter-link between
the Design and Engineering divisions of Stabilus GmbH and the OEM customer.
His/her goal is the satisfaction of all our partners by providing a reliable, economical and suitable product and
this position holder will also provide specialist technical support for the other internal
sales personnel. He/she also has to ensure that the confidentiality requirements of all our customers are respected. |

Responsibilities of the Position |
|
|
|
|
1. Gas Spring Application Engineering, Technical Support and Project Management to the Automotive Customer base.
2. Design & Installation proposals
3. New Applications
4. Involvement to Sales Activities and other commercial issues
5. Supervision and co-ordination of project management activities |

|
|
|
|
|
Primary Tasks |
|
|
|
|
1. Contact to local automotive design and development centers to identify new applications, verify customers’
requirements and assist with concept designs.
2. Contact to local Automotive OEM manufacturing and engineering departments to provide development support
during the project.
3. Project Management in accordance with IATF16949 through liaison between customer, Stabilus GmbH and STKR.
4. Technical information and product training for customer base.
5. Installation proposals in conjunction with Stabilus GmbH for new development projects.
6. Fine tuning of proposed products in actual applications.
7. Handling of sample requirements (quotations, ordering and on time delivery).
8. Co-ordination of new designs at Stabilus GmbH and introduction at STKR.
9. Interlink between Stabilus GmbH and customer, especially with regard to agreement of design and specifications.
10. Co-ordination of customer release for design changes.
11. Expansion of sales volume by implementing new applications.
12. When designs require new processes and new building groups the co-ordination of design activities is passed to
Stabilus GmbH in accordance with the requirements of IATF16949
13. Co-ordination of logistical requirements for customers, such as packaging and delivery system |

Qualification & Skills |
|
|
|
|
1. Bachelors of Science or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
2. Min 3~5 years’ experience in automotive product or application engineering
3. Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and Local Language
4. Demonstrated history performance in achieving business objectives while in technical positions.
5. Working Knowledge of Moving System
6. A deep understanding of the automotive industry |

Work Place |
|
|
|
|
- Your primary work place is Uiwang city in Korea.
But frequently oversea travel will be required to Stabilus and Customer's engineering center and production line. |
