1. Brief of Job
Contribute to the business by focusing on building strong relationships with business leaders and providing them with insight, support and advice to drive business decisions – working in an aligned way with consistent approaches to develop people plans that enable business performance through our people.
2. Job responsibilities
•Contributes to the development of the county HR strategies and links to Asia Area HR strategies and business goals and targets.
•Works closely with the business leader and his/her leadership team in respective
business unit to engage the organization in adopting and delivering on the
business goals, while delivering on the HR agenda and key tasks. This aspect will
require the HR business partner, to demonstrate the ability to think but also to lead some activities in achieving specific goals.
•Provision of strategic input to the respective business leader and his/her team,
challenging concepts and ideas and issues when appropriate.
•Consults and introduces performance management and improvement programs, which addresses problems and non-performance for individuals and teams.
•Contracts with the business leader and line managers in respective business unit to diagnose and deliver specific HR interventions aligned to performance improvement or business change outcomes. (i.e Performance calibration and promotion)
•Ensures HR solutions align to the global/country HR Agenda by utilizing global/country HR policies, procedure, tools and techniques in areas including organizational
effectiveness, change management and employee engagement and relations,
people transition, manpower and performance management. (i.e Strategic
workforce planning and recruitment)
•Engages and contracts with local centers of excellence in HR in support of HR
solution delivery.
•Analyses organizational and employee trends from multiple data sources as an
input to future HR solutions.
3. Essential Requirements
•bachelor's degree
•min. 12 years experiences in the industry

•Ability to draw up process documentation i.e. SOP
•Proficient in English both written & verbal
•Experience of working in complex global multi-national organizations, A strong
combination of strategy and operational exposure as a generalist is needed.
•championing and driving the change agenda in partnership with the business is a plus
•Demonstrate experience of managing one or more complex HR projects through a complete project life-cycle, ranging from HRIS, succession planning, retention and realignment.
•Approaches all issues with a high level of integrity, encouraging ethical behavior in addressing issues and problems.
•Confidence to table ideas and to push back when challenged by the business and peers.
•Ability to switch from strategic to operational HR activities effectively.
•Strong analytical skills, understanding the value in process when needed, but with
the ability to bring new ideas to the table, by thinking outside the box.
•Ability to demonstrate the capabilities to energize, enable and execute projects and activities with minimum guidance and supervision, with a willingness to take
responsibility and step up when required.
4. Desirable Requirements
•Pharma industry experience is preferred
•Employee Relations (ER) and L&D experience is preferred
