2) Qualifications:
• over 10년 이상의 화학 관련 업계 물류 경력
• Strong Knowledge of Korean transportation environment ( transportation
planning and Domestic/Inbound/Outbound Shipment including customs clearance )
- Public Transportation, Dedicated Transportation, Drayage Service, Ocean/Air
Shipment, Third Party Freight Forwarders and Customs Brokers,
- Experience interacting with G’vmnt authorities, such as Customs Office
• Knowledge of Korea local/Int’l transportation regulation in handling DG,
Toxic, HPG substances and controlled materials under CCA, K-REACH, HPGSC, IMDG,
IATA, CTPAT, ISF, etc.
• Experience and understanding services offered by third party warehouse
service providers
• Experience of handling duty payment and refund
• Fluent level in English
• Interpersonal, negotiation, organization, presentation, communications skill,
analytical, Proven team management and leadership skills, Strategic thinking,
positive mind
• Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated
5. Role
• Ensure compliance with local/global DG transportation/trade regulation,
security and safety standard, and adhere to EH&S policy in handling all
types of shipments
• Follow standard business processes in all aspects of daily work
• Optimize shipments to control delivery cost – loading rate, shipment
frequency, delivery zone, etc.
• Communicate and resolve issues with 3PLs around delivery/shipment arrangement
to ensure no disruption to product supply.
• Meet customers’ special requirements, urgent shipment
• Closely work with counterparts of various internal functions, such as Sales,
CSR, Production, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Maintenance, EH&S, Compliance
• Process deliveries/shipments thru SAP system
• Receive freight quotation, manage freight in database, post freight cost thru
SAP shipments
• Process vendor payment transactions via ERP system, coordinate month-end
settlement working with 3PLs and Account Payable team
• Manage and maintain shipment database for KPI measurement or for G’vmnt
reporting
• Prepare for various types and frequencies of G’vmnt reporting upon the regulatory
bodies
• Cope with G’vmnt audit, Customer audit and internal audit
• Ensure completion of all applicable trainings required by company
