Job Description |
As a key part of N/E’s financial risk management planning and oversight strategy,
the Audit Manager will be responsible for performing financial audits of N/E’s
suppliers (or customers) or potential suppliers to determine their financial health.
The audit activity will include, but not be limited to, reviewing the status of the
suppliers/customers starting from financial information available as well as defining
an internal rating classification to evaluate risk of bankruptcy and non-performance.
This role will reside in Korea and will be focused primarily on Korean companies,
but may be required to support audits of companies outside of Korea as well.
The Audit Manager will report to both N/E Korea’s Director of Operations ? Asia
Pacific and N/E’s CFO.
The applicant should be preferably based in the Southern area of Korea. |
Responsibilities |
? Look for and recover accurate financial information
(official data base, balance sheet, bank information, business relationships, etc);
? Perform complete analysis of accounting, finance, economic issues in the
context of business transactions;
? Prepare report of the analysis conducted highlighting the major key indicators;
? Prepare and execute detailed work plans for various engagements;
? Review and demonstrate experience managing business information;
? Communicate effectively to all levels of engagement management;
? Build external relationships to get information to support the business knowledge;
? Effectively identify the risk associated to N/E business in Asia. |
Qualifications and
Skills |
? Accounting graduate with at least 2 years’ audit experience within auditing
firms or banks;
? Strong business awareness and an ability to identify audit issues arising from
commercial transactions;
? Team player, with the ability to multi-task, as well as flexible and can work
under pressure;
? Socially confident with good organization skills;
? Self-starter with good analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem
solving;
? Proficiency in spoken and written English and Korean. |

- Working location : Various Supplier Facilities located in the Southern areas of Korea
- Working days : 40 hours per week Monday thru Friday, with 1 hour for lunch is ok for the typical working
hours. Some overtime may be necessary, but the offered monthly base rate will be all-inclusive
with the exception of personal mileage
