[Summary] 
She/he will be working with Korean Science Parks/Incubators representing JNJ entities to work with various external stakeholders to grow the local healthcare innovation ecosystem. These stakeholders are government, academia, biotech/pharma/medical device/consumer healthcare companies and venture capital firms, and non-profit organizations that are co-located with the parks/incubators. The person will report to the New Venture Director, Korea, Johnson & Johnson Innovation Center, Asia Pacific. 


[Responsibilities]
The individual would work under supervision from New Venture Director, Korea to implement and evolve the Asia Pacific Innovation Center’s external innovation strategy in Korea. 

1) She/he will be responsible for identifying external opportunities in biotech companies, academia, hospitals that are aligned with JNJ strategic focus
2) She/He will be the person on the ground to build critical scientific relationship with entrepreneurs, scientists and KOLs. Relationship building with major stakeholders in the entrepreneurial ecosystem including government bodies and VCs is essential.
3) She/he will be the point of contact for JNJ Innovation at Seoul Bio-hub (initially with 50% of time) to facilitate the connection between various stakeholders to grow the local healthcare systems, including coordination and participation in education workshops and network event designs. 
4) She/he will coordinate the visit for JNJ experts’ visit to Korea to arrange meetings with companies in the bub and outside of the hub


[Requirements]
1) Postgraduate degree in science/technology/medicine is required
2) Master level with 10+, PhD/MD with 5+ years’ experience
3) Minimal 1-2 years research experience is preferred
4) Prior experience working with government stakeholder is preferred
5) Highly-motivated, quick-learner
6) Effective communication (written and oral) skills, fluent in both English and Korean
7) Excellent facilitation skills
8) Ability to work and contribute to team especially in a matrix reporting system
9) Good time management skills
10) Ability to exhibit a culture of responsiveness and initiative
11) Ability to prioritize and manage workload
