[Responsibilities]
1) Lead and manage the planning process (Quarterly updates, Annual budgeting, Strategic planning)
2) Assist, influence, enable and ensure that Business Unit financial targets are met – incl Opex, MNI, Cash Flow
3) Monitor trend in key P&L lines including GP, A&P, SG&A, and tax, to drive cost saving initiatives and develop latest estimate at quarter/year-end
4) Closely communicate with Asia Pacific region for performance reporting, planning and ad-hoc topics
5) Support North Asia cluster level work as needed basis
6) Build interdependent partnership with all functional business partners
7) Provide sound financial analyses of cases for new business opportunities that exist at Local level
8) Involvement in / drive standardization of process improvement & sharing best practice across the country finance team and wider J&J
9) Proactively contribute to maintaining and improving a strong internal control environment eg understanding & applying SOPs/Work Instructions and updating as necessary
10) Proactively take responsibility for personal development
11) Contribute to the improvement in employee satisfaction within the team by leading a Financial Analyst and across the wider Finance Team
12) Provide training and guidance to commercial partners on finance basics and operation procedures
13) Any other relevant work


[Requirements]
1) University Degree in finance, accounting, business, engineering or other discipline
2) Qualified CPS or CFA is an advantage
3) Minimum +6 years professional experience in finance
4) Ability to bring clarity to complex business issues and proven success in managing complex projects & processes
5) A track record of driving constructive change should be evident.
6) Excellent communication & business partnering skills including:
- must be able to work with and influence internal customers
- comfortable in challenging internal customers in a non-confrontational way
- proven ability to work with people at all management levels
- able to communicate fluently with all levels of Sales and Marketing
- simplify complex written communications
- adapt style and content for all levels of the organization in English
7) Ability to analyze the financial data ensuring that it makes business sense
8) Strong team player, people manager and ethical (Credo minded)
9) Highly computer literate, experience with ERP systems and Microsoft packages.
10) Influencing skills - across cultural differences and ensuring all management understand the Financial priorities and constraints, ability to align business partners on tough financial calls
11) Committed to on-time-zero-defect reporting and compliance with J&J standards
12) Utilize knowledge of organizational drivers, dynamics, and informal networks to influence appropriate business decisions
13) Delivers presentations to senior management with confidence in English; facilitate group discussions to ensure understanding and achieve the best possible outcome; provide recommendations and solutions; encourage others to speak their mind; demonstrate confidence to acknowledge when answer is unknown to a business question
14) Anticipate and manage competing and changing priorities; recommend trade-offs for business impact
15) Communicate and get cross-organizational alignment around the time constraints and commitments required; anticipate and resolve workload bottlenecks
