▣ RESPONSIBILITIES
ㆍSupport Strategic Marketing Team to develop and implement marketing strategy for
international records/artists in Sony Music with a key focus on digital marketing,
engagement & content creation
ㆍSupport planning, developing and executing social media and physical/digital marketing
campaigns to increase artist awareness and ultimately drive digital, physical sales through
creative ideas
ㆍSupport identifying catalogue repertoire with marketing potential
ㆍSupport discovering new artist for a local license deal
ㆍIdentify key social platforms and stay abreast on new emerging connections, trends and
technology to effectively initiate and manage communications with the target audience
ㆍManage projects to develop and fulfil marketing initiatives
ㆍEvaluate various chart and catalogue sales
ㆍDevelop and maintain an awareness and understanding of the music industry
ㆍMonitor and analyse competitors for campaign planning reference
ㆍBuild and maintain industry network
▣ REQUIREMENTS
ㆍEligibility to live and work in Korea without support from Sony Music or incurring relocation costs
ㆍUniversity graduate with up to 2 years of working experience in relevant field
ㆍStrong interest, knowledge and curiosity in music including being well versed in diverse genres
ㆍPrior working experience in multinational companies is preferred
ㆍProficient in English communication, both written and business presentation
ㆍExcellent knowledge of digital marketing trends, platforms and channels
ㆍExperience and acumen in content creation and conceptualization is preferred
ㆍProficient use of Microsoft Office, experience with graphic tools (Vegas, Photoshop) preferred
ㆍHighly motivated, pro-active and creative attitude with ability to work effectively with other teams
ㆍStrong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
ㆍHighly organised with the ability to prioritise, able to manage a varied and
full workload as well as work to strict deadlines under pressure

ㆍ대한민국 거주자이며 국내 취업에 문제가 없는 자

Marketing Manager |
▣ RESPONSIBILITIES
ㆍSupport the Head of the Marketing team (International & Local Frontline) as a deputy to
develop, drive and implement marketing strategy for international and local releases /
artists in Sony Music Korea
ㆍPlan, develop and execute promotion and marketing plans including both on-line and
off-line marketing campaigns
ㆍSetup artist DNAs
ㆍManage artist signing relationship
ㆍManage public relations to handle local media and prepare press release as required
ㆍLiaise and develop close working relationship with the press, radio and TV promotion channels
ㆍMaintain and establish relationship with key local and global digital service providers
(e.g. Melon, Mnet, Bugs, Olleh, Genie, Soribada, Apple Music and etc.) as well as popular local
online media such as Pikicast, Moncast & Dingo for executing digital marketing campaigns to
optimize reach
ㆍOrganize and execute pre-roll advertising campaigns on YouTube and other local video service
sites and online banner ads on the top search engines and portals (NAVER, daum, etc.) to
enhance exposure
ㆍIdentify key social platforms and stay abreast on new emerging connections, trends and
technology to create social and digital communications and online and offline artist
communities
ㆍLiaise closely with other teams such as Digital & A & R on regular basis to devise impactful
promotion and marketing campaign proposals
ㆍMonitor market behaviors to understand trends and drive market share across streaming and
radio
ㆍUpdate and monitor marketing forecast and budgets

Professional working experience in music or entertainment industry

ㆍStrategic media promotion (including TV broadcasting, Radio & new business area)

▣ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
ㆍReport to the Artist Manager, responsible for Artist schedule arrangement
ㆍWork on artists promotional and work schedules
ㆍProvide the best support to artists
ㆍCommunicate on behalf of artists with the third party channels
ㆍExpect frequent and regular outdoor activities with artists and ready for overtime and work over
weekends as necessary
