Job Summary:

The Art Director, Package/Graphic Design will create design solutions from concept through creation for the Company's product and its packaging of the assigned category within a defined brand identity, in order to meet and support innovation and trends. This position is also responsible for leading the art direction for junior designers, managing the project schedules and assisting the Senior Art Director .  

Responsibilities:

·        Conceptualize multiple design solutions to address product strategies with multiple design options

·        Create and execute concepts, comps, layout and final designs, in a wide range of packaging/graphic applications including packaging design,  labels, component art, collateral sales materials, consumer advertising, promotion materials, etc.

·        Identify trends and apply them to the design

·        Analyze and comment on packaging proofs

·        Present visual solutions and design ideas and strategies to internal clients to reflect the appropriate brand identity 

Preferred Skills /Experienced Required:

·        Bachelor’s degree in Art/Design and/or equivalent

·        At least 5+ years experience in design with a focus on packaging

·        Proficient in Adobe Illustrator/ Photoshop

·        Strong understanding of branding, print production process and cost

·        Must be creative and a great eye for detail and color sense

·        Flexibility to shift priorities in a fast paced and highly demanding environment

·        Effective collaboration with product development managers, copywriters, production and other internal stakeholders

·        Must be detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and have the ability to prioritize

·        Ability to work both independently of and cooperatively with team members

[SENIOR DESIGNER]

Job Summary:

The Senior Designer will be responsible for dealing with numerous aspects of design with heavy production skills subordinated with design skill. S/he will create designs for Company's product packages, products, and provide other graphic support. S/he will be dealing with packaging, trade shows, POP/banners, displays, labels, component art, sell-sheets, merchandising in store elements, consumer advertising and sales promotion materials in order to support the growth of Hair Products, Cosmetics, and Treatment lines.
