Statement of Role and Job
Description
Conduct analytics on performance
and strategies and assist to implement revenue strategies and processes across
the Resort, in order to optimize and maximize revenues opportunities
Preferred Qualifications
•At least 3-5 years of experience, with at least 5 years
of experience in the industry, in pricing, business analysis, revenue
management and/or finance in Hotel, Resort, or Theme Park
•Experience in quantitative and analytical skills with
substantial hands-on experience in business analysis, revenue management, and
in Hotel, Resort and/ or Theme Park
•Proven capability and eager to learn new tools and
systems for continuous improvement
•Demonstrated strong attention to detail and accuracy
•Understanding and familiar with Jeju and/ or Korea market
for Travel Industry
•Ability to work with people at different levels in
different functions with strong partnership, interpersonal, presentation, and
communications Skills
•High level of motivation, determination, commitment, and
taking responsibility
•Strong computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Access,
PowerPoint, Word, Outlook), with preference for knowledge of statistical
software
•Fluent in spoken and written English as mandatory,
advantage for Chinese competency
•Bachelor degree in Statistics, Operation Research,
Finance, Business Administration, Attractions, Hotel Management, or related
discipline.
Scope of the Key
Responsibilities
•Research and monitor competitors performance, and market
information and industry trend
•Analyze booking patterns, market trend, current business
performance and Identify new revenue opportunities
•Provide daily, weekly, monthly and regular/ irregular
reports
•Optimize and expand distribution partnerships with Sales
in liaison with Pricing Strategies
•Forecast revenue and business performance to implement
proper pricing and revenue management strategies
•Implement revenue management operations, procedures and
best practices
•Build and maintain strong working relationships with
levels of staff across the Resort
•Train and cultivate the concept and culture of Revenue
Management through all levels of associates across the Resort
Job Description and Work Scope
1)Ensure for System Management
and Configuration across the Resort
•Work together with respective operational Business Units
to ensure all related systems are configured correctly, validated and working
to full capacity across various systems
•Ensure web site booking process is maintained up-to-date
and functional, in line with the Resort’s Sales,
Marketing, and Pricing Strategies
•Evaluate performance of distribution partners and
contracted rates (OTA, FIT, tour operator, corporate, consortia, crew, groups,
etc…), and keep our direct bookings competitive to ensure
proper profit
•Reduce the cost of distribution by finding new less
expensive means of delivering business
2)Compilation of revenue &
sales-related reports and process
•Prepare reports weekly and monthly basis to provide KPI
performance with volume, average spend, revenue, and achievement to Sales, Marketing,
and respective Business Units
•Manage data and reports to have accurate business
forecast, and to assist business decision
•Analyze overall monthly performance of the Resort and
each Business units, and provide summary report with recommendations to improve
long term strategies
•Prepare outline for and support the annual revenue budget
process
•Define processes for yield management in order to ensure
optimal profitability and revenue streams across the Resort
•Understand sales, reservation, and stay flow and
relational database on the Resort, and be knowledgeable of the varying Business
Unit and different products
3)Actively monitor and manage
the inventory across the Resort
•Manage block and group sales through reservation and
sales systems
•Monitor and manage Length of Stay, Selling Price per
product, Market segment optimization to maximize revenue opportunities whilst
ensuring level of service at the operations
•Provide insights and forecast on booking pace and
projected business outlook for upcoming months and days to respective Business
Units for operational efficiencies
•Provide analytics and insights on inventory/ space
efficiency to respective BU to increase revenue opportunities and operational
efficiencies
•Set up and ensure to have proper system configurations
for single and package products, and coordinate with Reservations, Sales, and
Marketing to sell products effectively
•Provide insights to Operations in terms of sales pace and
projected attendance outlook
•Identify gaps between actual and expected sales pace and
proactively inform respective Business Unit to ensure necessary measures are
taken to manage the business
4)Involve in development and
measurement of revenue initiatives across the Resort covering hotels, F&B,
Attractions, and Retails
•Conduct the price benchmarks and market survey to be
competitive and lead the market
•Monitor and analyze performance of existing products and
new promotions/ products
•Assist assessing impacts of pricing strategies and
decisions on market and customer behaviors
•Monitor and rectify Pricing strategies to be in line with
the marketing strategy, business target, market segments, and branding position
•Provide insight and recommendations on potential pricing,
sales, and marketing strategies to respective Business Units
•Liaise with internal Business Units to maximize revenue
opportunities across the resort
