Duties & Responsibilities

- Participate as necessary in the negotiation of all major transactions
- Provide legal guidance and strategic direction to a wide range of business stakeholders
- Actively contribute to all aspects of strategy, governance and compliance
- Provide proactive and solution-oriented legal advice and guidance to colleagues in regional
business sectors and corporate functions
- Maintain collaborative and collegiate relationships with stakeholders, ensuring that
communication is open and meaningful, legal issues are communicated effectively and
client care remains at a high level
- Taking the lead in applicable policy, procedure and precedents / know-how and ensuring that
colleagues are kept informed of relevant developments, especially on compliance related issues.
- Manage contentious matters including the proactive handling and resolution of complaints,
disputes, and litigation.
- Develop, promulgate and oversee the proper implementation of relevant compliance policies,
processes and related matters. Familiarity with applicable anti-bribery, anti-competition, and data
protection laws is essential. |
