[Entegris] Lead, Plant Finance (문막)

[Position Summary]

- The Plant Controller provides strategic and financial decision support.  

- The Controller is a key business partner to the Plant Manager, and other personnel in the Plant.  

- The Controller’s priorities are to help maintain the manufacturing facility cost accounting requirements and provide operational/cost accounting analysis to support operations and the broader supply chain organization.  

- The Controller’s activities include, but are not limited to, long term strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting, periodic reporting and analysis, ROI/investment analysis, process improvement and standardization projects.

- This position reports to JangAn Plant Controller who is acting as the Korea Plant Controller and will also have an indirect (dotted-line) reporting relationship to the Finance Director of APS Asia operations.

[Key Responsibilities]

1. Decision & Project Support

- Works with plant operations to identify optimal cost, assists operating managers with new product or alternate production feasibility studies, assists in capital spending evaluations, and acts as a financial advisor to the plant management team.

2. Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting

- Lead and provide support for the annual planning and quarterly forecasting process for the plant operations, relating to development of manufacturing volumes and operating rates, cost center budgets, BU allocations, inventory levels and capital spending requirements.

3. Costing Standards

Collaborate with Corporate Cost Accounting to maintain consistent systems across plants.

Manage standard cost updates in SAP and oversee master data accuracy.

Set and monitor overhead/work center rates.

4. Financial Close

Perform monthly and year-end cost accounting close, including inventory reconciliation and variance analysis.

Prepare reports for audits and annual reviews.

5. Reporting & Analysis

Manage cost/profit center structures and reporting systems.

Use SAP/BW/BO tools for analysis and reporting.

Provide forward-looking insights on spending, headcount, and investments.

Review warranty and inventory issues and recommend reserve levels.

Guide financial analysts in supporting plant metrics and PDCA cycles.

Qualifications (Required)

[Education & Experience]

-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

-Minimum 7 years of experience working with company-wide ERP systems (e.g., SAP, JD Edwards, PeopleSoft) in a manufacturing cost function.

-At least 5 years of experience in plant finance, planning, or business finance within a manufacturing company.

-Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.

[Skills & Abilities]

-Strong knowledge of finance reporting systems and GAAP.

-Solid accounting and cost analysis skills.

-Strategic thinking with understanding of external/internal plant dynamics.

-Proficiency in SAP Finance Costing and Inventory Modules.

-Advanced Excel skills.

-Fluent in both English and Korean.

-Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.

-Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

[Other Requirements]

-Willingness to travel up to 5%, primarily within the region and occasionally globally.

[Preferred Qualifications]

Experience with Lean Accounting and A3 Thinking/Reporting.

Familiarity with SPC/Camline systems for defect/scrap data analysis.

Product and part knowledge relevant to manufacturing.

Strong mathematical and logical thinking skills.

Coaching and facilitation capabilities.

Ability to support process improvement and standardization initiatives.
