담당업무 세부내용

Marine Electrical Design Engineer

The Marine Electrical Design Engineer is responsible for designing and developing electrical system for ships,
offshore units, and related facilities. This role requires not only strong technical expertise but also
high communication skills, relationship management, and a positive, solution-oriented mindset to ensure
successful project excution with clients, shipyards, and cross-function teams.

Technical & Design
1. Develop electrical designs (power generation/distribution, control, lighting, and safety system.
2. Prepare and review single-line diagrams, load analyses, cable schedules, and routing layouts.
3. Ensure compliance with classification society rules (ABS, DNV, BV, LR) and international standards (IEC, SOLAS, IMO and Class regulations, etc).

Collaboration & Communication
1. 1. Maintain strong communication with clients, shipyards, vendors, and internal teams
to clarify technical requirements and resolve issues.
2. Manage relationships with stakeholders by providing clear updates, technical explanations,
and professional guidance.
3. Support multi-disciplinary coordination to align electrical design with mechanical, automation,
and process systems.

Mindset & Project Support
1. Approach challenges with a positive and problem-solving mindset, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
2. Demonstrate flexibility and teamwork in high-pressure project environments.
3. Participate in FAT, HAT, and SAT, providing technical leadership and troubleshooting support.

우대 사항

ㆍExperience with LNG carriers, FSRUs, FPSOs, or FLNG projects.
ㆍKnowledge of decarbonization technologies and alternative fuel systems (LNG, hydrogen, ammonia).
ㆍStrong team-player with leadership potential.

자격 요건 및 기술

ㆍBachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or related discipline.
ㆍ3–10+ years of marine/offshore electrical design engineering experience.
ㆍStrong knowledge of marine power systems, PMS, UPS, MCCs, hazardous area design, and safety systems.
ㆍProficiency in AutoCAD, EPLAN, ETAP, or equivalent tools.
ㆍExcellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
ㆍAbility to build and manage professional relationships with clients, shipyards, and vendors.
ㆍMindset: proactive, adaptable, collaborative, and client-focused.
ㆍWillingness to travel for site work, meetings, and commissioning activities.
