1. Job Overview :
Reporting to the District Manager, the Territory
Managers (TM) will be responsible for developing,
servicing, and managing a territory of institutional
accounts that include hotels, restaurants, hospitals,
laundries, schools, other institutions and distributors
2. Main Responsibilities :
- Safety
· Follow Ecolab safety guidelines and incident
reporting requirements
· Act as a safety champion at customers’ sites
- Business Planning & Review
· Meet established sales and profitability targets
· Analyse and review with manager business results,
identify growth opportunities and action plans
· Deploy divisional programs and initiatives
· Implement targeted price increases at designated
customers
· Establish service call plan to meet service level
agreements
· Monitor and report market intelligence in territory
(competitors, customers)
- Account Management
· Develop and maintain customer relationships at
all levels
· Service customers and document in Steton
· Provide first-line equipment maintenance and
support incl. minor repairs
· Optimise account profitability (e.g., equipment
investment, fixed fee mgmt.)
· Accurately implement agreed corporate account
commitments and proactively inform CAM of
results, issues and initiatives for CA site(s)
· Prepare and hold periodic business reviews with
identified customers
· Identify and monitor timely customers-at-risk,
contract renewals and determine retention action
plan with DM
· Ensure collection of receivables to proactively
prevent credit holds
- Customer Value Delivery and Documentation
· Proactively identify, develop and implement
solutions to improve results, customer service,
and total cost
· Identify, quantify and communicate the Ecolab
value provided
- Account Prospecting – in conjunction with DM
· Establish target customer list and acquisition plan
· Produce and present customer proposal in line
with internal approval process
· Negotiate and close the deal and implement
conversion and start-up plan
3. Required :
· Adequate level of education
· 2-3 years of experience in a sales environment
· Industry experience
· Excellent planning, organisational, communication,
and problem solving skills
· Ability to work independently, under pressure,
and with little direction
· Customer service orientation with consultative
selling aptitude
· Technical understanding (e.g., electrical,
mechanical)
· Driver’s license
· Country specific language skills
· Experience working with and knowledge of
computers (e.g., MS Office suite)
