-Provide legal advice and guidance to multiple departments in Korea and SEA region including Management, Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain.
-Draft and support management of contracts including customer, supplier distribution and franchisee relationships ensuring alignment with Region.
-Support of company litigation and Company secretarial support including preparation of board meeting agenda, information packs for board members and official Board and Shareholder meeting minutes
-Escalate legal and commercial risk issues as required both within business and within region as required
-Support for protecting intellectual property
-Support for Food law adherence including regulatory compliance, labelling and marketing
-Training and guidance on ethics and compliance.
-Advise and support on broad spectrum of employment issues
-Adhoc research, counsel, and guidance on legal questions or issues
-Support maintenance of relationship with JV partners
-Support legal review on union, labor issue and CBA.
-E-commerce and social media including data protection and privacy requirements
-Support of leases for office space and shops as required
-Translation into Korean of English templates and Interpretation translation support
