Accelerate Korea is a private business startup consultancy, accelerator and events operator with offices in Korea and headquarters in the Netherlands. I WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR I Designer Intern

You want to polish your practical experience in the field of graphic, business visual communications design, mobile or web design whilst still taking responsibility and creating meaningful output?

You will be expected to support with brand design, sns design, print design, content & visual communications design, mobile and web design.

As an intern, you will also create unique and singular logos for Accelerate Korea’s upcoming events that will be featured on websites, event materials, and so forth. Not only is this a great opportunity for your work to gain exposure, but it will also be a chance to receive valuable hands on experience in all aspects of event marketing and management.

I YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES I Assisting, Creating & Supporting

• Design content in Korean and English

• Create event logos

• Modify existing design assets

• Content & visual communications design

• Design promotional and marketing materials in a look consistent with previous material

• Update website content and outline

• Work closely with the team to assist them in any way possible with administrative or content tasks

• Research effective outlets for additional design opportunities

• Assist with auxiliary websites as needed

• Assist with the production of digital artwork for the campaigning of Accelerate Korea’s affairs

• Other various office and duties as assigned

FURTHER OPERATIONAL TASKS

• Be available during office hours for all kinds of questions and needs of our stakeholders

• Be a peer / friend to startups

• Other duties and assignments as necessary and required

I WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU I

• Currently enrolled or undergraduate degree in visual communications design, graphic design, UI / UX design, fine arts or related field or equivalent visual design and experience required

• Self-driven and the ability think for yourself and act suitable without direction when needed

• Knowledge of the startup ecosystem is an advantage

• Entrepreneurial mind-set an advantage

• Drive, creativity, imagination and initiative, accuracy, attention to detail, flexibility and a willingness to learn and grow

• Experience with software such as Photoshop and Illustrator

• Experience with other software such as InDesign, Flash & Premier

• Knowledge of HTML, Adobe After Effect & video editing is an advantage

• Good organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask an advantage

• Knowledge of layouts, typography and graphic fundamentals is an advantage

• Fluency in Korean and high proficiency in English, other languages a bonus

• Ability to work collaboratively and build trust

• Be honest, loyal and trustworthy
