Supplier Quality Improvement Engineer
Job Summary
Selects, develops, manages, and ensures defect-free performance of the business' supplier base with the objective of overall quality improvement. Leads processes to drive improvements. Resolves supplier quality issues.
Key Responsibilities:• Participates in supplier evaluation, selection, and strategic sourcing process development.• Responsible for the supplier corrective action process including containment, root cause analysis, and corrective action.• Ensures suppliers use quality tools effectively.• Works with supplier to ensure all product requirements are met.• Oversees the supplier quality resources for new product introduction and current products to reduce supplier related issues, improve process capabilities, and ensure timely project launches.• Responsible for determining if all requirements are met by the supplier for new or changed products.• Measures supplier quality performance according to established procedures; drives appropriate improvements to meet established targets.• Facilitates continuous improvement activities to reduce defects.

Education College, university, or equivalent degree in Engineering or a related technical or scientific subject required (EE, ME, Automotive Industrial Engineering, etc.)
Experience- Intermediate level of AIAG 5 core tool usage at least.- ISO9001;IATF16949 training and Internal auditor experience.- (Preferred) ISIR experiences in automotive industry.- (Preferred) Work experiences with OEM customers. (Ex;Komatsu, Isuzu, Hino, Hyundai Motors, Doosan Infracore, Hyundai Construction Equipment etc) Language skill - English: over intermediate level.- Chinese: over intermediate (preferred) Additional responsibilities unique to this position: - Working closely with manufacturing/customer quality and purchasing team across Asia Pacific region.- Supporting customer quality issue resolution in South East Asia.- Career development: Expecting to senior SQIE - Travel - (domestic) over 40~60% / (International) over 15~25% Location (근무장소) : 경기도 수원시 권선구 오목천로132번길 30
